I've written about a bad landlord and agent, but I want to say that not all agents are bad.

Our current agent is from Medics on the Move. They don't work with just medics, but they started out that way. Our agent is always "on the ball". We have had several issues since moving in and every one has been resolved in a timely fashion.

This is not because we have a good landlord. In fact, we know nothing about the landlord except that he recently went bust and all his properties are in administration. Some group has taken over and they are honouring the contract and we have to wait and see what happens at the end of the lease. Some of the properties may end up on the market and we may be kicked out. We're just waiting to see.

However, because our agent, like all Medics on the Move agents, acts privately, she lends a personal touch to all interactions. I would definitely recommend using them whenever possible.
