Totally unbearable! There is only so long you can wait to get your house sold, I mean when you enter the for sale market you do not expect to take up to 3-6 months for your house to be sold and that is if you’re lucky I am sure there are people that have waited longer. Just imagine this when your estate agent told you to clean your property ready for viewers did not know it was going to be like a zoo people just coming to look and stare. If you didn’t notice there are no animals in my house and that for sale sign means I would actually like to sell now rather than never! I don’t mean to sound so frustrated but when you have viewings every other week and low ball offers when you already gave a good price.
I started to question whether this estate agent was for real and whether he really meant that he could get my house sold after 4 months of waiting. I started to apply the pressure and rightly so, chasing him up with the viewers and their responses. I have a right to be concerned all I wanted to do was to Sell my Home for Cash if I could do and in a short space of time. Then he reminded me that most (when he said that I guessed all could tell it in his voice) were waiting for their mortgage approval or waiting to sell their old house before they could buy mine. I imagined to myself what it was like for them they’re probably experiencing the same thing as I am and roused myself. They let the truth slip and that was their biggest mistake fed up with the wait, broken chains always having to clean up for tourists. I promised there and then I would find another way to sell my home for cash fast not slow and I told them this, of course they gave the usual banter we really appreciate your concern and we are really searching for buyers’. One thing that put on me breaking point was how naive they thought I was, I told you I need to sell my house in three weeks and months have gone passed. Plus I am paying the mortgage every month on top of that but all they said is that leaving them would be mistake (the mistake was thinking that could actually do it faster after the same things being repeated over and over again). This is when the active search I was going to look for a way where I could Sell my Home for Cash and in much faster time was fed up with going slower than snails and that. It did not take a week for me to find something that looked like it could be the way forward Rapid Speed Home Sales something was different here they said they buy houses for cash no estate agent fees and they were not estate agents (even better). So far so good and I decided to call them and ask them about the service and whether they actually meant that it costs nothing for me to sell my house like they did on the website ( no legal fees). They ran through similar questions like the estate agent asked but in far less the time (liking them already as they valued my time) and within two days they would call me back with a guaranteed cash offer. This moment was surreal I never thought that the process would be so fast the estate agents had me fooled. The cash offer was perfect to match what I needed and within a week true to their word I had sold my home after months in limbo with those agents. Anyone who needs to sell their house fast, trust me this is the place to go, they finished the race before the estate agents had even properly begun. Their website is www.rapidspeedhomesales.co.uk |

Am sorry, but i have to disagree with you on this one. 3-6 months is not long at all when it comes to selling the house especially at the moment. I personally dont like companies that offer cash for houses. There reason why they are prepared to pay your legal fees is because they pay far less for the property than its actually worth. Of course, some of us desperately need to sell and get cash for one reason or another, but i'd be very cautious about the firms as described above.

I would also have to disagree with you on this one if you are looking for company that will tell you exactly the truth about what is going on go to this one, maybe you have heard or experienced this from others but it is not good because of one experience of one to immediately rubbish hard dedicated ones like this. I can admit I did sell at a discount but only because I wanted a quick sale as it was a necessity. For all those who are fed up with estate agents I recommend them which goes for the following websites and many others like this. This post has been edited by Anne Conway: 21.8.2009, 23:11 |

At the end of the day its all about making an informed choice about the matter. When you know advantages and disadvantages of using various agencies/methods to sell your property, you can then make a choice depending on your personal circumstances.

There are unscrupulous estate agents as well as property investment companies that prey on those sellers/buyers who do not know what to expect or who are in a vulnerable position. Believe that this area needs to be regulated to enforce basic standards at least.

At the end of the day, we choose what suits us most in given circumstances. Some of us are prepared to wait before we get the suitable buyer, some of need to sell quickly w/t any hassle but under the market value.
