New houses are more energy efficient making them more popular than ever whether buying a new homes to live in or for property investment or real estate investing. With fabulous designs, excellent build quality, and the opportunity to choose from a range of styles and finishes, you're more likely than ever to get the home of your dreams whatever your requirements.

I dont like newly built houses much: ceilings are lower, rooms are smaller, dividing walls are flimsier, etc, etc... Unless, of course, you do it yourself from scratch without compromising on quality. But thats just my personal opinion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Guess both of these have their own advantages and disadvantages. I love space the older houses offer, but tend to find them a bit damp. And as i've been battling with damp walls in the kitchen for the last five years, getting used to the idea of me next house been a newbuilt of some sort. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

In the current UK property market, houses that are in need of modernisation are being snapped up quicker than those in pristine condition. Due to the growing popularity of auctions there are now companies that will keep you up to date with the latest auctions for a small subscription fee.

i think its because they offer better value for money. in my humble opinion, newbuilts are often overpriced.
