I have since last June 2009 stored in my garage, my ex girlfriends possessions. A garage full of stuff. I have asked her personally x3 times to collect the items and have texted her by mobile phone x2 times including giving her a moving date that i am moving out of the property into another rented accommodation. I have still not received a reply to when she is going to collect them. If i leave them in the property when i move then the letting agent will charge me for the clearance.
Where do i stand legally with my ex girlfriends possessions? Can i threat her with binning her stuff if left?

Hi, best thing is to type up a letter informing your ex girlfriend of a time and date that her belongings will be removed from the property and placed outside ready for her collection. Make a copy of the letter for your own reference and date, then .post the letter recorded delivery for proof that it was delivered and signed for. If you still do not recieve a reply, carry out the threat. I think most people would agree that you have been more than patient.
