Could someone please advise whether banks are happy to lend money to buy plots of land? If so, is it quite easy to find a bank willing to offer such mortgages?

Yeah, i'd like to know too. Do banks need to know what one's buying the land for?

Good question but the easy answer is they really don't care as long as you have your financials in order. All the lenders really want to know is that you can afford it. |

I WENT TO MY BANK A WEEK OR SO AGO TO FIND OUT ABOUT A LOAN FOR LAND THEY ASKED WHAT I WANTED THE MONEY FOR BUT WAS MORE THE LADY JUST BEING NOSY RATHER THAN A NEED TO KNOW BASES.

Wow, there are still banks left that ask no questions? Let us have more details, i might consider asking them for the loan and will try to satisfy all their curiosity! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
