Hi,
Basically my problem is as follows; We have 6 weeks left on our tenancy agreement and want to break it if possible to move out sooner. The flat downstairs from us has developed a leak which means our floor needs to be ripped up to repair the problem. It is a house that has been turned into two flats. The down stairs flat has water pouring through lights about a bucket a day. As I work split shifts i sleep during the day and the repair work would disturb my sleep pattern. What I want to know is what rights do I have to refuse the landlord entry or could I use this as a way to break the lease agreement? Any input would be appreciated, Cheers |

Do you mean you are 6 weeks away from the end of your 6 months assured tenancy agreement?
