Hi all,

Can someone please tell me if the Landlord has to supply to MEANS to install either a Gas or Electric Cooker?

I have just moved into my flat (which I have rented from my boss and which is on the grounds of my workplace!), but my boss says that the flat is unfurnished and I have to supply a cooker. That's not a problem, as I have been given a cooker, but now... I have no way of installing it as there is no electrical or gas point! Unfortunately my boss is getting a bit off with me now and says that I have to get an electrical point installed myself (I also don't know how much this is going to cost me). As part of my contract it states that I have to "leave the property as it has been found"... how can I UNINSTALL an electrical point? There is a lot of bad feeling now... Can anyone tell me who is right please?
