Hi,
We are seriously contemplating moving back to the UK from the USA. We would both need to find new jobs, but would be confident (as much as one can be) of finding something for us both within the first 4-6 months. Certainly at least one of us could secure temp work quite quickly we estimate. We would need to rent upon our return. My question is, would letting agents consider us as we would be unemployed? I'm guessing that we could circumvent this initial problem by paying for our rental in advance, if so, what would be the standard amount of rental they would require in advance - 6 months? We anticipate only renting for a year as I have a property to sell in the UK, at which point we will buy in our chosen new location. Any views welcome, thanks in advance. |
