From 6 July 2009 there will be a slight increase in fees charged by the land registry for their registration services such as property and/or land registration, etc as well as their information services such as requesting a title plan or official copy of the property title. Undoubtedly, this increase will be passed by conveyancers to their customers through increased conveyancing fees.

It's typical, isn't. Stamp duty tax threshold raised - g8 news for buyers! Registrations and other fees are to be raised - not so great news! Government will always take back more then they've given out.
