Mary Poppins started an interesting topic, i think, about creative use of land that is bought as an invested. We should share our ideas of what land could be used for apart from obvious arable land and building houses. I agree that more flexible approach is needed when you think of investing in land. For example, if you like outdoor pursuits it's possible to combine business with pleasure by building adventure parks for children and adults or organising adventure activieties!

If you have imagination and sufficient resources, i would have thought, the opportunities would be endless. The weather in uk is getting hotter, flights are getting more expensive, making more and more of us chosing to spend hols here. Campsites or caravan sites with areas for horseriding, for example, or archery may be a good idea although not sure on planning side of things.

How about offering alternative storage solutions on farmland that is no longer in use a such. Some businesses and individuals may wish to store bulky items such as timber, boats, containers, etc.

Windfarming could be an option too! Although, it's not for everyone's liking, we need to look into alternative energy supplies.

having a great imagination with a patch of land is key because you want it to work for you and not just sit there. Personally I want to open my own cafe and building from scratch gives me a blank canvas.

That's great if you want to open your own cafe.

I'd love to open my own cafe too, an arty one with original paintings, art evenings, etc... (guess there's nothing wrong in dreaming (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

When you move from one place to another you have to hire the services of a Moving Company. However, since you would be shifting all your personal belongings from one place to another, it is vital to find a reliable moving company.

How do you find the right moving company, when there are so many available for selection? Here is a checklist of things that you should consider before selecting any moving company:

? Check the number of years of experience the company has in this business. This is vital to finding out how well they handle interstate moving activities.
? You can find out more about the moving company by looking into the Better Business Bureau and the American Moving and Storage Association. They will put forth reliable information on them.
? Ask their moving fees. Compare this with other similar companies to find out the best options
? Does the company charge any additional fees? This is vital to find out as details of the same would have to be provided.
? Find out how they will pack and store items. You should be satisfied with their work method to hand over the task of moving your personal items from one location to another. Companies will do special packing for appliances, so find out about this.
? Insurance is one of the most important points to find out. Check if insurance is provided by the company and what kind of coverage is provided through insurance.
? Time taken to deliver the good from one location to another. This is important is you will need to plan moving and settling down in the new location according to this.
? Check out their high season rates and how do they differ from their low season rates
