Hello,
we are trying to find a tenant for our studio flat, and just now somebody form Social Housing Solutions rang and offered us a 3 year guarantee rent but the tenant will be an unemployed person. Has anyone dealt with them? Is it worth it and is it really as they said - we'll get ga=uaranteed rent no matter what? We are newbees and don't know much. Thank you for your replies. |

I've never dealt with them, but it is important to read through their contract and any small print to ensure that your choice is well-informed. Sometimes what agents say and what their agreement with the landlord says are two different things. To me the only way they can do this is by arranging a rent-guarantee insurance. I guess their commission is higher than average too.

What is social housing solutions? Is it an estate/letting agency or the department with the local authority? To me, if smth sounds too good to be true, its probably not good or not true.
