Hi Judith
There are not many commercial mortgage providers that publish their rates as majority make decision on the individual basis. Margins are anything from 1% above BoE or LIBOR rate, but can be as much as 6% above. So there is no straight answer as a lot depends on the type of the property, business nature and quite a few other factors. |

You are expected to put down at least 30% and it is probably worth putting more as the lower the LTV, the better the rate.

30%? that's quite steep! Apart from the rates, are there lots of differences between the residential and commercial mortgages?

30% for commercial mortgage. I think its not very easy to get.
