When we need to investment in property we need to a real estate agent but why, but in mind who can give you expert advice and valuable information, so we must need to a agent . A good real estate agent will offer you information on the local real estate market and give you an idea of the types of mortgage products that are available to you. A mortgage broker or lender can also give you valuable information when you decide to buy a home.

If you have time, it may also help to do your own research so that when you do consult an agent, you have an idea of what they are talking about and can ask them for more detailed information. Unforunately, there are some unscrupulous agents who are more interested in sale or commission than providing quality service.

HI, newcondos!
Actually if your IQ permits you to take the process of house purchase on you – that is great! In such a case you can safe money on agent’s fees. By the way some agencies do not charge agent fee if you are lucky to find your own buyer. The only thing they may ask you to pay is advertising costs and for the 'for sale' board. |

And what's the min IQ required, dear Dandelion, to enable someone to buy the house? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) The reason why the buyer turns to the estate agents is because most properties are sold through them. And the seller, through the agent, has wider access to those who may be interested in purchasing their property. Although, I knew someone who sold their property on the e-bay few years back.

Am i missing something here? Why would you need an agent if you have your own buyer? Or do you mean if you find your own buyer while waiting for the property to be sold via agents? If that's the case, then those agents sound rather reasonable. |

professional agents could be as important as oil for the wheels: the help to avoid unnecessary friction between the buyer and the seller! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
