Google Launched UK Mortgage Comparison Website

Google, online giant specialising in various services, is believed to launch a mortgage comparison website in Great Britain.

Earlier this year, a similar service - Google Adviser - was launched by Google in the USA. This time, Compare UK Mortgages seems to be available in the UK. Let us remind that earlier this year, Google purchased a popular UK comparison portal BeatThatQuote.

The website has the same structure as other mortgage comparison portals do as well as ads from leading UK banks, like NarWest, Woolwich, RBS, Lloyds TSB, etc.

Google also launched a survey to learn what comparison services Compare UK Mortgages' customers used before.

Commenting on the new website, Mr. Rees of LeadPoint UK, said that "only time will tell how successful this service will be and what other products will be arriving in the UK." He also highlighted that many comparison websites will have to step up to the new standards set by Google.

Mr. Rees expressed a hope that the new mortgage comparison website will be good for consumers.
