Allergic Drivers Should Be Cautious – Halfords

A new report published by Halfords on April 20th suggests that Brits should avoid driving when suffering from hay fever and/or allergies.
Halfords report revealed that approximately 27% of Brits suffer from hay fever; of these, 10% admitted they have found themselves in a situation when they had to stop the car because of the sneezing. 32% said they did take their eye away from the road to search for tissues.
Further 25% of Brits suffering from hay fever do realise that their symptoms affect their ability to drive. UK car insurance companies claim that around 2 million of accidents occurred because of hay fever.
Commenting on the findings, Mr. Carlin of Halfords Autocenters, said that "efficient air con systems can help screen out the pollen that causes hay fever... Motorists need to ensure they are serviced regularly. It’s a quick and easy check but it could save a great deal of misery."
Detailed information on the report by Halfords as well as experts’ tips to drivers suffering from hay fever is available on the official website of the company.
