Moscow Has Greater Investment Potential than London

In 2011, Moscow topped the LaSalle Investment Management's European Regional Economic Growth Index, also known as E-REGI. Usually, the 1st position in the list was taken by London, but this year things have changed. British property experts decided that potential of Moscow real estate is big indeed and that the city is the most attractive destination for property investors.

It is interesting to note that Moscow was not included into the E-REGI for many years. For the first time, it joined the list in 2009 and immediately took the 6th place. Last year, Moscow moved to the 2nd place and now it clinched first place.

In the opinion of LaSalle experts, Moscow has greater potential than London, Paris and Munich.

"Moscow authorities are actually planning to build a new city with a separate urban development plan and more efficient urban planning resulting in an investment product closer to models in developed markets" - said Sayan Tsyrenov of Cushman & Wakefield.
