Conveyancing Quality Scheme to Be Promoted by the Law Society

The Conveyancing Quality Scheme, which we described in the news articles earlier, will be actively promoted by the Law Society.
Let us remind that the scheme, which opened for applications in December 2010, will provide a unified quality standard for all UK conveyancers participating in the scheme.
The Law Society announced it will launch the advertising campaign in April, so that it coincides with the Easter and corresponding house-hunting surge.
Commenting on the move, Ms. Lee of the Law Society highlighted that the organisation has already held several PR campaigns, all of which had been successful so far. She added that the society "now plans to do the same with CQS, a scheme which will be of genuine benefit to anyone buying a home."
The aim of this campaign is to let home buyers know that certain conveyancing firms have secured a mark of excellence for themselves with CQS.
She also reminded that those companies that decide to participate in the CQS will go through a strict assessment and will have to renew their membership on an annual basis.
