The Co-op Group to Launch Family Law Service

Family law services will soon be offered by the Co-operative Group provided that the new division gets the licence from the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
The Co-operative Group announced that it plans to take advantage of the Legal Services Act, that deregulated the sector, and launch a family law service.
The group has already hired three lawyers Jenny Beck, Christina Blacklaws and Chris May, who will head the division.
Commenting on the move, Martyn Wates of The Co-operative Group, said: "We believe that the presence of The Co-operative’s trusted brand and values in the market place, together with a combination of first class products and services, will provide customers with greater accessibility to legal advice and better value for money."
The Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) still needs to obtain a licence from the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Let us remind that earlier this year the CLS offered its legal services through the Co-operative bank branches as a trial.
