The Golders Green Wins a National Award

The Golders Green estate agency, a company that does not allow its employees work on their birthdays, has won an award for excellence at the Estate and Letting Agent Awards, which was hosted on April 8th by Phil Spencer in the five-star Marriot Hotel, located in central London. The results of the award were compiled on the basis of customer satisfaction surveys that were conducted over a year. In the course of the surveys conducted, customers rated around 300 estate and letting agencies on the basis of their service quality. Estate and letting agencies that gained maximum scores were awarded. James Ryan, principal of the Golders Green estate agency said that the competition was unique as they agencies were judged by customers. The company’s services impressed its customers with a free telephone service, which offer free of charge consultations by estate specialists, who guarantee the same-day callback. Also, the company provides its first-time customers with a “welcome box”, which includes tea, coffee, and candles. Moreover, the company’s management tries to create a positive working environment for its employees. For instance, firm’s employees do not work on their birthdays – they are not allowed to! It should be noted that last year the company won the 1st place at the Estate Agent of the Year Awards 2008 in the London region and the 2nd place in the nationwide competition. Moreover, it won the Judges Award in the course of the Best Estate Agent in Residential Sales in October 2008, held by the Daily Mail. Commenting on the challenging task of selling and letting properties under current circumstances, Mr. Ryan said that although it was extremely tough, last month the activity picked up and now the company is doing great.
