WM&T Agent Expands into Rural Market

Wilkie May & Tuckwood, a west county agent is now expanding into the rural property market. Although Wilkie May & Tuckwood admits that current economic environment represents the most difficult times, the agent has hired 2 consultants who specialize on sale and purchase of country properties in Somerset and Devon. Wilkie May & Tuckwood parteners Mr. Wrelton, Mr. Jeffrey and Mr. Tomkins have hired Nick Evans Frics Christopher Bartlett. Both Evans and Barlett have been working for regional and national estate agents, specializing in rural property, for more than 40 years. Barlett himself has a rural background: he has been training on a family farm after he graduated from the Royal Agricultural College; now he lives with his wife and children in a village near Wellington. Earlier, he worked for the country house department of Strutt and Parker’s Exeter office, where he dealt with a large variety of properties. Now Mr. Barlett is located at the Cullompton and Wellington offices. Evans has been working as a character surveyor in rural and country property for more than 30 years. He has been working for the most reputable national companies such as Strutt and Parker and Humberts. Now Mr. Evans lives in Exmoor, while his office is located in the Taunton office. John Wrelton of Wilkie May & Tuckwood said he is delighted that Nick Evans and Christopher Barlett have joined the WM&T team; he also said that now company’s customers throughout Devon and Somerset will benefit from the best personalized service.
