George Wimpey Sells Final Properties in the City Development

George Wimpey’s new property development, the City, located in Coventry, has seen the final phase launched, during which home buyers have a superb opportunity of purchasing their own apartment for a mere £64,397.

These low prices were made possible as the leading UK property developer, George Wimpey, teamed up with Orbit First Step – the British governmental HomeBuy Direct agent. It is highly important to note that the low prices are only available for first-time buyers willing to purchase one of the final homes still available at the City development.
The HomeBuy Direct Scheme, which has been launched by the UK Government, enables eligible Brits with an overall household income of £60,000 or less to reduce their mortgage by as much as 30%, and yet to still fully own the property. The HomeBuy Direct Scheme provides home buyers with an interest-free 5 year loan, which will later feature a record low interest-rate for 25 years.
According to Taylor Wimpey’s marketing and regional sales director, Mr. Daniel McGowan, the HomeBuy Direct scheme best suits those who are concerned with their ability to secure a mortgage. However, he mentioned that the scheme is only offered for a limited number of properties, which means that first-time buyers and others wishing to qualify have to act fast.
Karen Coleman, team manager at Orbit First Step HomeBuy Direct Agency, claims that the agency sees a lot of interest in the scheme from potential homeowners, willing to purchase a property from a developer.
Moreover, George Wimpey representatives say that potential buyers of apartments at the City can easily receive free financial advice on UK mortgage products when they visit the City development.
The developer suggests that buyers looking to purchase an apartment in the City through the HomeBuy Direct Scheme pay attention to the “Jackson” apartments, which combine excellent price, design and comfort.
