RAC and Heath Lambert to Introduce Home Insurance Deals

Heath Lambert - the largest independent insurance and reinsurance broker in Europe - signed a contract with RAC - UK provider of breakdown cover and car insurance - for the development of household insurance products.

The 5-year contract implies that the 2 companies will launch several home insurance products as early as in 2011.

Commenting on the agreed cooperation, Mr. Godfrey, head of sales at RAC said that the firm has chosen Heath Lambert because of its excellent reputation and expertise in the property cover market. He also expressed the confidence that RAC will be able to succeed in the home cover market as it did in auto insurance sector.

Mr. Smith, managing director at Heath Lambert, in his turn, said that the firm's cooperation with RAC will definitely help both businesses emerge as a major force in the sector of property insurance.
