Income Protection Insurance Improved at Canada Life

Canada Life, one of the insurance companies that is widely present on the UK market, has made its CMS Connect service available to a larger number of policyholders.
Earlier, the service was only accessible by holders of group income protection (GIP) because the qualifying annual premium amount ranged from £75,000 to £100,000. Now that it has been lowered to £50,000, more clients of Canada Life can access the service.
CMS Connect providers workers and employers with additional support in claims management because it has 5 levels of contact that allow policyholders enjoy facilitated submission, adjudication and management of claims.
Commenting on the changes, Mr. Newcombe of Canada Life said that CMS Connect service has proved to be very useful for employers who had better experience in claims processing and enjoyed reduced costs. Now that the qualifying amount has been cut, Canada Life plans to "significantly increase the number of schemes that we’ll be handling via CMS Connect."
