The latest statement made by a property services group - CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. – suggests that the company decided to expand its current investment banking platform based in the UK into the Americas. According to the company’s plans, investment banking professionals from CB Richard Ellis will specialise in property, restructuring, merger and acquisition, and capital raising services in Americas. CB Richard Ellis has profound experience in investment services across Europe as it has been working in this sphere in the past years, being engaged into a number of important restructuring assignments representing leading EU financial institutions. Moreover, it has been busy with the workout of several major defaulted securitized investment vehicles in the EU and with the trade of property derivatives in cooperation with GFI Group, Inc.
