UK Farmland Still In Demand

Estate agencies and property specialists are determined that land is a safe haven for UK and foreign investors.
Lately, another report suggesting that farmland in Great Britain is a safe haven for investors was published.
Peter Crichton, a professional providing a wide range of rural property, valuation, auction, livestock marketing services, recently said that high-quality arable land in the UK sells for 10,000 pounds and more and still attracts investors from all over the world.
The findings by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) also suggest that the price of farmland in UK rose to its highest level in the first 6 months of this year. According to RICS surveyors, the most expensive farmland is located in the north-east of England.
Claire Whitfield of the Strutt & Parker estate agency said that many farms and estates in the north of England "have risen in value by between 10 and 14 per cent in the last year, making this autumn an ideal time to bring property to the market."
