HomeSwapper’s Focus Group Meeting Was a Success

In 26 months from the launch of a new service, HomeSwapper, it has become one of the best resources for mutual exchange service for both, tenants and landlords. The service attracted more than 200,000 of new registrations and 452 landlord partners; moreover, it helped 10,600 families find a new home. The HomeSwapper services are designed to support the mobility of its partner landlords and, therefore, rely upon the feedback of its customers. As for now, HomeSwapper has organized a landlord focus group for London and South East England landlords so that they can share their best ideas on property rental and swapping. The meeting of the focus group was held in Kings Cross, London; it was attended by 11 largest landlords, such as the Guinness Partnership, Thames Valley Housing Association, Home Group, London and Quadrant, South Essex Homes, Sutton Housing Partnership, London Borough of Camden, Milton Keynes Council, and Barnet Homes. During the meeting, landlords discussed various ways of marketing HomeSwapper services to different groups of tenants as well as the feedback on the tenants’ experience. HomeSwapper Head of Partnership Development, Kevin Gilhooly, said he was delighted by the Focus Group meeting and would like to thank all participants that were able to take part in the 1st meeting of London and South East England Focus Group. He said the meeting contributed greatly to learn and share opinions on the HomeSwapper service. He also said that the service is successful nationally as it constantly develops and uses the most up-to-date techniques of improvement. During the particular meeting of the Focus Group, its participants not only discussed the services of HomeSwapper, but also gained information on void reduction, overcrowding alerts, and under-occupancy. Regional Manager at HomeSwapper, Ian Thompson said that landlords provided the service with a positive feedback and shared their views on further improvement of HomeSwapper.
