Buy to Let Landlords Should Research Location – ARLA

The latest report by Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) suggests that UK buy to let landlords should carefully research local background before purchasing a property to rent in a particular area.

According to ARLA experts, it is an essential measure to ensure that money is invested wisely. They highlight that "the rental market does suffer ups and downs and behaves very differently from region to region, so it's critical that you select the right property in an area you have researched in detail."

This report by ARLA follows recent survey, which revealed that UK landlords find buy to let industry more and more attractive. To be more precise, 71% of those questioned by ARLA confirmed that renting is becoming increasingly popular.

Association of Residential Letting Agents also reminded that those landlords who wish to avoid landlord insurance claims should perform checks of all potential tenants. A national tenant network launched by Gary and Ruth Henderson could be of great help to them.
