Over 50% of Brits Lack Life Insurance – Barclays

A recent survey carried out by Barclays revealed that more than 50% of UK adults do not have life cover despite the fact that many of them have children or other dependents.
Of Brits whose lives are not covered, 25% said that they have no dependents and do not care about insurance, 23% said they never considered buying life cover, while 21% are determined that protection is not worth the money they have to pay.
Commenting on the findings, Mr. Clarkson of Barclays, said that "insurance is often the thing we think of last, or something we don't want to think about at all. This can be a false economy, and insurance is relatively cheap."
He also highlighted that Barclays is happy to reintroduce its simple life protection, which is very reliable and competitively priced.
If you feel responsible for your life and the lives of your dependents, consider using online tools to browse through the offers available from UK life insurers. Great deals are available from Barclays as well as from other providers.
