Brits Prefer Pet Insurance to Life Insurance

A research performed by one of UK comparison websites found that Brits are more likely to buy pets insurance than life assurance for themselves.

The website's statistics suggests that three times as many Brits ask for a pets insurance quote than for life insurance quote.

Jeremy Mall, commercial director of the Compare the Market website, that performed the research, highlighted that the fact that Brits are so caring about their pets is good. Vet bills in case of vaccination or treatment can be really huge, and the right pets insurance gives owners an opportunity to escalate these costs down to the insurance company.

He noticed, however, that "pets aren't the only members of the family who could benefit from insurance. If the worst were to happen, life insurance cover enables you to look after your family when you are gone. This could help make sure that your home is paid for and your family's welfare is taken care of."
