Greenbee Pet Insurance to Be Renamed

Greenbee Pet Insurance to Be Renamed

Greenbee Pet Insurance - a British provider of cover for pets present on the market since 2006 - has rebranded as John Lewis Pet Insurance.

Let us remind that initially Greenbee Pet Insurance was a branch of John Lewis Group, which also offered digital, travel and booking services. The survey carried among the customers of the company showed that they find the difference in branches' names confusing.

As a response to the consumers' reaction, John Lewis Group decided to rename Greenbee into John Lewis as the latter is recognised more widely. Commenting on the changes, Mr. Justin van Derpant said that the company has been steadily aligning Greenbee with John Lewis; also, the firm plans to exit the travelling sector and focus on insurance only.

Let us remind that Greenbee used to be one of the leading British providers of pet cover as it insured not only puppies, kittens and adult pets, but also old furry pals.

Existing customers of Greenbee will certainly be notified by mail on the name change, said Mr. Justin van Derpant.
