UK Rents Rise for 9 Consecutive Months

It has been reported lately that the cost of rent in England Wales rose for the 9th consecutive month in November.
Commenting on the current market trends, Mr. Neunes of LSL Property Services, said that "rents have been creeping upwards, month in, month out for the last year, and now stand just a few pounds shy of £700 per month."
His words are supported by statistics, which showed that rent rates have increased all over the United Kingdom last month, with the exception of Yorkshire and Humber. The most dramatic rises were registered in the South East (1.2%) and North East (1%).
The changes in rents have resulted in the improvement of ROI for property investors; at the moment, the average returns amount to 8.1% for UK landlords.
Experts believe that the increases in the cost of rental accommodation will continue in 2011. If you are currently looking for an apartment or a house to rent, consider using online comparison tools to find the best deals and reviews.
