Halifax Names the Best UK Location to Live and Work

The Halifax Rural Areas Quality of Life Survey is a survey that ranks UK locations according to the living standards (the major indicators include housing market, labour market, environment, education and health).

The information for the survey is gathered from a variety of reputable resources, such as the ONS, DEFRA, the Department for Transport, and many others.

The latest survey revealed that South Cambridgeshire is the best location in UK to live and work.

Commenting on the findings, Mr. Patel of Halifax, said that "South Cambridgeshire has performed well against the full range of indicators to demonstrate that its residents consistently have amongst the best quality of life in rural Britain. Even the rain falls less frequently than the national average in South Cambridgeshire."

South Cambridgeshire was followed by East Hertfordshire, Uttlesford, Aylesbury Vale, Waverley, Tandridge, Mid Sussex, Chiltern, East Cambridgeshire, and Tonbridge and Malling.

The detailed results of the survey will soon be available at the official website of Lloyds Banking Group plc.
